因貴州地區天雨關係，令由達地鄉至也蒙地區村級公路變成泥濘路，阻礙運輸建築材料。
也蒙地區各村村民積極協助修補公路。
The heavy rains at Guizhou turned the local village roads between Dateixian and Yamong area into muddy ground, causing delay in transportation of building materials. All Yamong villagers assisted vigorously to repair the roads. |

寒冷天氧亦造成電線、電話線結冰和斷裂，令供電系統和通訊終斷，有關部門正全力搶修。
The heavy rain and snow season has adversely affected the construction progress. The local power and communication networks have been suspended and the authorities are taking recovery action with full strength. |

寒冷天氧亦造成電線、電話線結冰和斷裂，令供電系統和通訊終斷，有關部門正全力搶修。

貴州省偏遠山區學校工作計劃 Work plan for school at Guizhou Province remote mountainous area |
本基金與香港思源基金會携手合作援建貴州省偏遠山區學校工作計劃。
有關援建黔東南州雷山縣達地水族鄉《也蒙小學》第一期地基工程，已於本年七月底破土動工，整項工程約需110天工程期完成，新校舍及配套設施將在十一月交付使用。建校領導小組並計劃新校舍竣工典禮，將安排在十一月十五日至十九日苗年期間舉行。該項建校工程由凱里東信建築工程公司中標承建。
CCEF and HK Xiyuan Foundation jointly sponsored the construction of Qiandongnan Datei Suixiang Yamong Xiyuan School. Phase I site foundation work commenced in July 2006 and the whole project, undertaken by Hoili Dongshun Construction Co., was estimated to last for 110 days. The school building and related facilities will be ready for operation by November. Opening ceremony is set for Miao New Year during 15-19 November. |

搶修公路 Urgent repair of motorway |
在6月14日和7月16日期間，貴州雷山縣天氣惡劣，連續數天下滂沱大雨，數個地區造成山泥傾瀉和泥石流，埋沒了一段雷山縣往達地水族鄉也蒙村的公路，山泥傾瀉量約三千立方泥土。建校領導小組發動一批鄉民力量，並借用一部挖泥機配合搶修公路，搶修工作已於2/08日全面完成，公路現已回復通車，令建校工程隊的運輸材料工作得以順進行。
During the period from 14 June to 16 July, a section of motorway connecting Leishan and Yamong village was blocked by landslide due to heavy rains. The project team borrowed a bulldozer and enlisted assistance from the villagers to repair the motorway. Materials delivery resumed on 2 August upon completion of road repair. |
